Join my intimate 8-week creative writing workshop designed for writers who want:

Held at a calm space in East London, this carefully crafted programme is limited to just 10 participants, to enable personalised attention.

The programme includes:

When: Wednesday evenings, 6-8pm

January 29th to March 19th inclusive

Where: In person at the De Beauvoir Block, London N1

(NB there will be one class online during the half term week of February 19th.)

Cost: £390

One place available at 50% for a low-income writer offered on a first-come, first-served basis. (Please contact me if you think you may be eligible for this)

What do you need to bring?

Pen and paper, an open mind and a positive attitude!

When you have paid for the course, you will be sent a course outline and some pre-course homework to complete before the first morning.

Terms and Conditions

The course is subject to the same general Terms and Conditions as outlined on the main website.

In addition, the following Ts and Cs apply to courses:

  1. Cancellation and Refunds

Refunds

Refunds will be given, minus a £30.00 administration charge, if notification is received by email at least 14 days before the start of your course. Bookings made during this time are ineligible for refund. Refund requests received over a holiday period when office is closed will be assessed after the break and honoured if eligible.

No refunds will be given with less than 14 days' notice.

Cancellation by Us

The Book Edit reserves the right to cancel a course, if, for example, there are insufficient enrolments. If this occurs, we will refund your course fee in full. We recommend early booking to prevent courses being unnecessarily cancelled.

2. Attendance and Participation

  • Regular attendance is crucial for workshop progression.

  • Participants are expected to arrive on time and prepared.

  • More than two unexcused absences may result in dismissal without refund.

3. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

Course Materials

  • Required course materials will be provided or specified in advance.

  • Participants are responsible for bringing writing tools and a notebook.

  • Course resources are for personal use only and cannot be reproduced or shared.

Intellectual Property

  • All original work created during the workshop remains the intellectual property of the participant.

6. Photography and Recording

  • Audio or video recording of classes is prohibited.

  • I am not responsible for personal belongings or any injury during the workshop.

  • It is recommended that individuals with specific health concerns consult their healthcare provider before attending.

Potential Changes

  • I reserve the right to:

    • Modify the workshop curriculum as needed

    • Reschedule or adjust class times if necessary

    • Cancel the workshop with full refund if minimum enrolment is not met
